I was wondering if you could kindly help me in deciphering a word on a 1910 Federal Census from Roxbury Township in Morris County (specifically on Main Street). The final entry on that page of the census, Franco Piombino, is an Italian immigrant listed as working in the railway industry (specifically, "RR Engine" under industry), but the specific occupation is undecipherable. It appears to read "Wifer" or "Wifeer" but is unclear. I was hoping that someone may know what it reads, given their knowledge of railway history and that specific time period.
