Probably your only chance to travel behind one of our locos this year is fast approaching - we're taking 'Melior' and newly refurbished Coach 647 to the Preston Rally, near Canterbury, over the last weekend of June, and will be giving passenger rides over a short stretch of track.
This is the first time we have undertaken such an endeavour and has only been possible as the Railway is remaining closed throughout 2009. As with all good Gap Years, we're going travelling but this time we're taking a train with us!
