It also means that the Spa Valley Railway can field 3 working steam locos for the first time since 2013.
A second visiting steam loco may be brought in for the 20th Anniversary Gala.

Make that FOUR working steam locos for the Steam Festival (1/2 July) - Hunslet 0-6-0ST No.7 'Beatrice' (2705/1945) is now visiting for the event from the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway & will be working alongside fellow visiting Hunslet 0-6-0ST 'Ring Haw' (1982/1940) and resident Vulcan Foundry-built 'Austerity' No.72 (5309/1945) & RSH class 56 No.62 'Ugly' (7673/1950).

There will also be 4 locos in steam at the 20th Birthday Bash (26-28 August) with a very appropriate visitor to the Tunbridge Wells-Eridge line: BR Standard 4MT tank No.80078 will be making it's 2nd visit to the Spa Valley (previously visiting in September 2004), joining 'Ring Haw', 'Ugly' & No.72. A number of diesels will be in action too, including the visiting 'Deltic' No.55019 'Royal Highland Fusilier' & residents Nos.33063 & 73140.
