Simplex comes to rest

Oliver was built in 1953 and I believe was supplied direct to Billing Aquadrome complete with steam outline body. It then passed to the Cotswold Wildlife Park at Burford, and so on as already described.
It was sold at auction in June 2010 and advertised for sale in Tractor Magazine by a dealer in Kent for £1500. We bought it and it is now at Bredgar waiting restoration - I wanted it restored as it was at Billing with SO body but I think it will be restored as a standard MR Simplex. Mechanically it is in sound condition and runs well but as it was supplied with a SO body (which had been removed / rotted away before we acquired it) there are some bits we are going to have to fabricate like the bonnet! It will also need a new set of wheels as it appears the exisiing ones are the originals and are very worn.
Hope this helps - not sure who got the other things at the Hop Farm as no sale details are available.
