Johannesburg - More than 27 people had been killed in road accidents over the past 24 hours, the department of transport said on Saturday.
Nineteen people, including a 2-year-old boy, were killed and 19 others were seriously injured when their bus ploughed into a shallow stream just outside Fouriesburg on Saturday.
