G'day BW,
Yes, the plague continues to simmer south of the border.
The fourth lockdown for them lot.
Amusingly, when it hit the fan, the northbound Ghan was suddenly halted at Marla, south of Alice Springs.
And a hundred odd Mexicans kicked off the train to be shoved onto busses and sent south to hotel quarantine.
SO, what about the remainder of the cattle who were sniffing in the same air con ?
With the Sandgroper border slammed shut again, I am wondering if the Silver Streak and Ghan might get amexed.
It just ain't worth the risk yet considering any long distance travel here.
Though yesterday, I did aim the car east to chase a stupid hysterical train out on the Mudgee branch to Rylstone.
A nice sunny winter day, but a frigid breeze.
LATE running, trees or fences blocking views, gunzels galore, drones flapping in the atmosphere, and flat batteries.
Ah well, I had nothing better to do.
Oh, and the bodgy budgie went berserk the last time that a mouse invaded the hovel.
A pure wooze he is.
There be only one or possibly two mice in me ceiling at the moment.
And, they are not very active due to the frigid conditions.
Had ice on me car windscreen yesterday morning when I departed at 0900, and it was parked under the carport.
The highway ice warning signs were blinking as I motored east.
But, out west, yes the mouse plague continues to ravage towns and crops.
It was bad enough having them underneath me tent while I was camping.
Fortunately they didn't chomp their way through the tent floor.
Steve.
