Ex-SR U class 31806 is due to make only it's second main line trip on Sunday 20th June, when it works a section of Steam Dreams' Hampshire Countryside Tour, top & tailed with LNER-designed B1 class No.61306 'Mayflower'.
The day begins with a run from London Paddington to Portsmouth behind 'Mayflower' before No.31806 joins the train and both locos work the tour around the New Forest & return. 'Mayflower' will later return the train to Paddington.
