Hi Jacques, and welcome to our forum.

Wow, that's a hell of a novel to be translating. Very 'arty'.

In the UK, electrical power for 'non traction' purposes (eg, carriage lighting, heating, internal door, etc) is usually called 'Auxiliaries'.

However, traditionally 'Electric Train Heating' was a thing back in the days when 'big' trains consisted of loco hauled carriages, and steam was no longer used for heating.

If you gave us the sentence in context, we might be able to suggest a more appropriate name.
