Hallo everyone, I am a new member from the Ross on Wye area.
I have recently retired, and because of health problems have decided to take up the one hobby I have dreamt of doing since my childhood days. I have a room designated for my trains and all the time in the world to learn and hopefully participate in posts on this forum.
I have laid my base boards, in a rectangular shape 8 foot by 7 foot and two foot wide, I hope to operate the trains from inside the layout. I want to use 00 gauge and would like to stay with steam.
I now have lots of planning to do, what system to use, layout plans etc. etc.
Thank you, I am sure this is a brilliant starting point for me.
