We are always being told about how India is a modern powerhouse with pretensions of putting a man into space but the reality is that the majority of that vast country is that it is slowly clawing it's way into the 19th Century. Mr Gupta is probably very happy to have a regular job even if it is a strange one in our eyes. I wonder what the RMT would make of such an arrangement on a branch line here?
