On my way from Warrington to Preston today, 37 216, in very faded Mainline blue livery, passed me Southbound at Standish on a lowloader with escorting vehicles. (about 2.15pm if you must know, weather conditions glorious...)
Sights like this always make my day. Does anyone know where it was headed, and where from?
