Thanks for the welcome,
I have attached a pic of the layout, I put some rolling stock on, so that the grandson got a chance to smile. He is far too young yet to realise that the buildings don't match the period or location intended, or that some bits are broken. It was enough for him that the inner track is now working along with the streetlights.
So there you are work in progress LOL
