Yes Tony, I took Speedbird from the BOAC/BA call sign. Although I never had anything to do with them directly (I was a travel agent for many years), I travelled with them very often, starting in the days of the Comet IV. My first plane trip (age 8) was on a Lancastrian belonging to BSAA.
