Hi27vet, you most certainly made me laugh with your first paragraph. Glad to see all is ok for you all in JNB,i enjoyed your photographs brought back many good memories,i still miss SA normally i am 6 months UK,6 months SA,this last winter i decided to stay UK side;never again,we had that white stuff so i hibernated, it was bloody freezing,excuse the expression. Talking of snow,when was that photo taken of your little girl in the snow,the last i remember was i think 1981/82,as Joburg ground to a halt with about 1/2 inch of snow,all work ground to a halt in and around Commissioner Straat all were playing snowballs as most people had not seen snow before. By the way as we all know officials throughout are involved in the cable thefts. I wonder if you know about the amount of Diesel Locomotives that have simply vanished,i am trying to find out how many,who said they are thick;very clever eh. I will be going along to see the guys at Reef Steamers as per usual,i find out plenty of information on my frequent visits,weather i will get to Bulawayo or not whilst i am over there is another matter.Look after yourself.Hambani kahle.
