Hello mrg2507 and welcome to the Railway Forum. I was also a fireman/driver on the Rhodesia Railways. I was lucky as my loco inspector was a great ,but firm and fair man. I had not seen him for over 40 years, then he turns up on Deal or No Deal. His name was Dirk and he was a Dutchman.
