I'm pretty sure it is trackside and not for the road. Although there is another structure behind it - what is that?
There were also two others elsewhere. I realise signals will change to red as the train passes them, but not usually until the cab is level.

Ah. It is orange, not red, thats why I got confused

But with bad quality on the video I sure looks like red for someone that does not know that it is orange
Anyway: It is a distant road crossing signal. (Press the orange text to show the aspect)
Three orange lights: Crossing secured (Called "Pass")
Three orange flashing lights: Crossing not secured. (Called "Stop")
And then at the crossing there is a light signal that shows white (Secured) or red (Not secured)
The structure behind it is the backside of two signals (narrow gauge and standard gauge), propably "Infartssignaler" (Entry signals) for Västervik.
