We walked down to the Pumping Station yesterday but I have yet to see the engine in action (although I have seen the one at Middleton Top working.) Next steaming is Easter Weekend so hope to get there when I'm not working on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. The remains of the wagon are still in the catch pit.
This year is the 40th aniversary of the closing of the C&HPR.
