His outlook might be different once he realises it was a suicide, mine certainly would be, and has been in the past. I find this 'method' of suicide particularly selfish indeed.
Even if it wasn't, a fire in a part of the train which was not his fault and which he obviously can't access or monitor whilst driving really isn't his responsibility; his actions didn't cause this.
People die everyday - you just get on with it.
