Unlikely to use the coast line due to reversal required at Whitby and at Scarborough.

Middlesborough - Whitby ( May get away without reversing if not calling at Whitby town station) - Falsgrave (Reverse) Scarborough - Hull
Unless you have details of an actual service that ran in 1902 -3?
