On a serious note there is only overcrowding in this country becuse people are too damlazy to wait 5 mins ofr the next train plu sheath and saftey regading the use of MK1 Rolling Stock.
They should let Heritage Railways operate some peak time trains as if you look at it this way you get an average of upto 9 coaches on a Heritage line this includes 1st class and a Buffet and a Guards Van but yet you only get an average of upto 3/4 coaches on mainline railway.
Then when a part goes wrong the whole train is failled and you get a shortage of units you don't get that with cariages as you either swop the loco or put another on the head of it or if ita problem with a cariage you swop it for another.
You see its the way this country operates trains that is the problem not so much the ammount of cariges we have.
