there are only 2 trains per day to york from man vic mon to fri,theres 3 per hour heading to leeds,one slow 144 via brighouse,another via hebden bridge also a stopper usually a 155 or 158,then theres the semi fast to selby again either by 155 0r 158 via hebden bridge bradford etc,this route towards leeds and all points east is my favourite as it passes through some lovely towns,it adds 20/30 minutes to your journey tho,whenever there is a york train at man vic its usually a 3 car 158 0r a 158/153,sorry to bore you but i read somewhere that the caldervale line is the most used on the northern network.
