Like you say mate....all gone, but at least you have your memories, like me.
I enjoyed the 08s or as we called them "Dobbins", I often swapped shifts to have a day on shunting jobs, I was never one for "dashing around the system"as I have mentioned before.
Quite happy "plodding" along the slow line or working in the yard with an 08.
