I agree John.
Last year when a train failed and no Virgin services were running north of Crewe passengers at Warrington were being advised to travel via Chester.
On NR's website it says.
"National Rail encourages the integrated use of cycles and trains - two convenient and environmentally friendly forms of transport".................it's a pity they don't make it a bit easier
