That is because the trainset was built in the UK!
My kid has never been on a train yet as we live in a faraway place(Gabon) where there is only one train and I wouldn't ride on it. The regular commuter trains in SA are not such a good idea either. So I will take her on the Gautrain when we go on vacation to South Africa. There are a couple of restored steam railways as well but last time we were there it was out of season.
