Whilst driving past the Colne Valley Railway today I noticed what looked like a pair of orange liveried type 20's.
I stopped on my way back to have a proper look (through the hedge
) and they are numbered 2001 and 2002 and the stenciled writing on them seems to be in French !
Anyone know the history behind them ? The axle boxes say "BR Timken" so they are of BR origin.
