Yep. I was sitting on the stile at Holloway Road level crossing one Summer's day in the early 50s when an old LMS railway carriage came coasting past all by itself.
As it happened someone had told me about it or I'd have thought it was a breakaway!
Because of the crossover where the branch joined the main line, Duffield was the destination of the first run out of the APT.
