This morning I was up in my dads loft and I found my train set which was bought for me in 1963 when I was four years old!
It is still in it's original red Tri-ang Railways OO/HO box, the stick on label says it is a RS21. My dad said that it cost him about £30.
Inside the box is my Princess Victoria 4-6-2 loco and tender, two carraiges and a selection of track.
On removing the inlays inside the box I found a small green electric loco with an X type thing on the roof (from somewhere in europe) a blue carraige with a large observation window on one end and a couple of goods wagons.
In a box was an intact capsule of smoke oil............................How the memories came flooding back
Anyone know where I can get Princess Victoria and 46205 transfers from?
