Horses for Courses
I have quite a large 00 guage layout based on Woodford Hulse on the GC.
I have been trying to work out an efficient way of running it with realistic movements.
I have found though that perhaps like the prototype certain locos work better than others and wondered if other modellers find the same?
On the steam side mixed traffic 4-6-0's and moguls really perform well but my three pacifics can get round (3ft radius curves) but they struggle to perform as usefully as latter.
Diesels up to co - co are ok too but my class 40 really doesn't like the layouit at all.
Look forward to your comments
