Hi everyone,

My name is Alan Lathan and I live in Frankfurt, the one on the Main River, not the Oder! I've been here since 1965 and have been trainspotting over the past 3-4 years. Previous to that I was involved in aviation. As a schoolboy my train world revolved around Fleet, Basingstoke, Reading and London.

I'm still a layman as far as photography is concerned, but with my new Nikon D5000 I hope it will improve. I usually find myself in Drehscheibe-online where I am known as Suedschau.
