1. Ffestiniog stock will be able to travel on the Welsh Highland, but probably not vice-versa due to the Ffestiniog loading gauge. Certainly the Garratts won't get through Moelwyn tunnel !
2. about 3 hours from one end to the other ?
3. have you ever been on the Welsh Highland ? Sections of that have limits of 10mph and 15mph due to the severity of the curves. [ PS a trip on the WHR is highly recommended, just not if you're in a hurry !]
