Either way, you're best off on the middle island platform, then you're not far from any of the constant action. Naturally, all depends on the sun, and unfortunately there's nowhere near the amount of freight as could once be found here (Newport's much better for freight workings). Bear in mind that a lot of tall, ugly & imposing buildings have sprung up on the south side of the east end of Cardiff Central. Still, you pays yer money, and you takes yer chances. Have a good day!
