Airfix Midland 4F
I think I have told you, but I have got two Airfix 4f locos, one came in an Airfix box and the other came in a GRM box, but they are both the same engine. Anyway this model is tender drive, not a drive I am too fond of, but I have renumbered one of the 4fs but now I have run the one this morning that came in the GRM box which was the last one I bought and "Lo and behold" it has got a distinct grating noise from the tender, not ear piercing but loud enough. So before I send it to the works (my workshop in shed) could a proffesional modeller tell me what it could be please, so that I know what to look for.
