I know there are countless numbers of disused lines in Hertfordshire. but the one in question is a line that goes through Hertford. I cycled along some of it yesterday and i wondered where it leads. it goes out east and west of hertford and appears to be double track.
it would be nice to know:
Where it goes from and where to,
when it was built,
when it was closed,
and also what locos and services operated on it.
Im sorry I don't know the name of the line but im sure someone knows the answer to one of my questions.
