anglia railways was owned by GB railways,which between 5th january 1997 and 31st 2004 operated mainline trains out of london liverpool street and a number of local rail services in east anglia,it also run services outside the terrtory it owned during the franchise and this was branded'london crosslink',and ran the great eastern mainline via the north london line to basingstoke,this service ran from 30th may 2000 to 28th september 2002.
on 1st of april 2004 the franchise was lost to company 'London Eastern Railway' which is part of national express group,its services was initially branded 'ONE' but have now been rebranded as national express east anglia.
fleet:class 47,86,150 'sprinter',class 153 'super sprinter',class 170 'turbostar',and mark 2 passenger stock,
