Hi Geoff & welcome to the forum.
John Hunt seems to have come up with the goods, but if you're still sceptical all rail vehicles have their weight written on them somewhere. I've seen EMT's HST end carriage plates above solebar level, so popping down to Loughborough station should reveal all.
