Lightbulb Who can answer this Q?

I'm currently designing a new type of High speed train fror the british mainlines (don't get the wrong end of the stick its not my job. I'm just doing it for fun) and I want to be as realistic as possible so could you tell me what the position is with pantographs? it would be easier to explain using this scenario:

There are two electric locos (let them be whatever you like: class 90, 86 etc). They are both running under their own power simultaneously quite fast and both have their pantographs up. Would this cause any sort of problem? because I heard that they encountered a problem when trying to do this with the APT back in the 80s. I've seen them do it with EMUs but could you do it with locos?

i'll show you my drawings when they're finished if I can work out how to get them on to here. ...
