thanks lads

Brillo and friends. When I was last trainspotting, i.e. actually taking and logging in engine numbers, the East Coast Main Line was just being electrified in the South Yorkshire area where I originate from, so its a long time ago.
I was comparing the Electrics i.e.82xxx and 91xxx to the HST 125s class 43s engine at either end hence my mistake.
I will try and catch up, its a case of getting used to identifying oncoming classes of trains again, I am still ok with 31s 33s 37s 40s 47s but now have to get used to the Electrifying experience of spotting if you will excuse the pun. Also the Freight engines 60s upwards are new to me, but still a pleasure to watch.
My only previous electric trains were on visits to Crewe and Euston years ago.
Many thanks for the reply, I shall certainly keep my eye on this site and purchase the "Todays Railways" to keep up to date.
Any recomendations on loco hotspots throughout the north would be nice.
Stan
