Hi Steve and welcome to the Forum. You said "I'm also building a 17"x11" "00" gauge layout in the loft for my son (and for me!!)". Are you sure, I bet that what it should have read is "I'm also building a 17"x11" "00" gauge layout in the loft for me (and for my son)". Please keep us posted with the layout and lots of photos during construction and remember it is all for fun.
