The thing is in this day and age they should be on top of all this work but they wont spend the money.
Plus if it the railways werent in the mess that they are in now then the tracks wouldent be in such a state.
On the Merseyrail Southport line they shut it down for a long period but there wasent mutch difference in the ride quailty of the trains.
Because the trains are too old too overlaoded al;l because they waste money on silly security gaurds instead of investing in the tracks and proper Police Officers.
