My 16 year old daughter has been an enthusiastic member of the Girl Guides for the last 5 years. At 16, she has become what the Girl Guides call a 'Young Leader' and she has been asked to help out with the local Brownie group. To do so she has had to forward all sorts of details so that a CRB check can be carried out. I can understand why, in this day and age, such a check has to be done, but it don't half make me mad.
She's 16 and wouldn't hurt a fly for God's sake. What a sad world we've made for ourselves.
