it does make sense to at least make provision for expansion in the future....and a Stansted to Heathrow link sounds sensible, a chance to move the domestic flights out of LHR.
Basinstoke extension sounds interesting, how long though befroe someone suggests a Southampton extention? Maybe Reading would be far enough......
