new members needed Canvey Railway Club.

Canvey club is situated on Canvey Island essex,(CRAMEC)
We have an extensive 7/4 track of just under a mile with a station signal box etc,there is also a raised track catering for 5 and 3/2 models....

i passed out as a steam driver on my 23 birthday in 1957 and was congratulated by the examining inspector as the youngest driver on the eastern region and as a bl---y boy driver to keep my nose clean...

it was a very busy day indeed, beside many of our club engines we had visitors from colchester audly end and a realy nice engine from belgium,

there are only 2 roads onto Canvey they meet at a large roundabout just on
the island Sommes ave is an exit off this roundabout and the entrance to
waterside is at a set of traffic lights about 300...

saturday 19th july, engines welcome to visit the club and run on a superb
track 7/14 ground level approx 1 mile circuit, raised track 5 1nch and 3/12
steam locos must have boiler...

come and ride the 7/1/4 railway dads go free with a responsible child. this is a ground level track complete with station signal box and full signaling there
is also a 5and 3 1/2 raised track.
