Who needs HS2? I am sixty years old and live in East Lancashire and been to London twice in my life so getting there 20 mins faster for me means nothing ( thats if it ever gets past Birmingham.)...

It would have been nice to have had the A4 double header early in the day. As it happened . late running meant it was in darkness when it did.

Saw a strange looking device running over Accrington viaduct yesterday (12/11/2013 about 14.00) heading towards Blackburn. Seemed to have a cab at either end with a couple of large IBC`s (tanks)...
