What was left over from the match day trains was...

What was left over from the match day trains was hauled out today (if i'm correct), two class 47s (well, one marked 47XXX, another D19XX and another I couldn't identify but it was painted blue).

Unknown train with mark 1 stock at canton railway depot?

Was going home today on the train which passes canton depot near cardiff central.. and there was a train I couldn't identify parked on sidings next to the main line;

For me it's fernhill (on the aberdare branch line) - either side of it there is:

a swamp (well, it could easily pass for one) which absolutely stinks to high heaven of sewage;

countless items...

Light levels on trains?

I've found that trains with lower levels of light are far more relaxing journeys (i'll attatch pictures i've taken below) - my experience of trains is limited to south wales (in the last few months...

The fares are quite reasonable here, 3.70 to go to Aberdare from Danescourt, and currently it's 4.90 for a return to Swansea from cardiff central - great!
