Yes. Not very new. There are faster operators as well as faster machines. This one is a combined machine, for tamping in points and on lines.

Today we tested to drive a tamperer.
Not learned, because that course is expensive and nothing they "waste" on anyone, but all people going the one year long "Railroad technician" course get to test...
