Cylindrical objects - what are they?
Does anyone know what are those cylindrical objects you see from time to time alongside rail tracks. I can best describe them (sorry don't have a photo) as a flanged cylinder about a foot diameter...

I take it you mean the old Shell site rather than the Octel site (which was actually in Amlwch town and served by an extension to the branch itself built in the early 1950s).
