two SWT trains,
hi.
Dunno if anyone can help, on monday night, a SWT class 159 appeared to be towing a SWT class 158 or 159 from Bristol to Sailsbury.
Can anyone provide me with details to why there was two...

Went past Thingly Junction again the other...
Went past Thingly Junction again the other day,,,, had some of those autoballester waggons in there, huge stock pile of old railway sleepers and theres a sign now saying its a rail reclamation...

interesting as I thought all freight via this line runs via Westbury (where i live) with the exception of trains relating engineering work in the area.... The plymouth tanks for example used to run...

the service is no longer ran as an enterprise service anymore for a number of years.
Although it was normally mixed with an oil train from the same location (which went to Tavistoke Jct Plymouth)....
