Im on a filming expedition monday on the severn valley railway and was just wondering if anyone knows what the resident engine's are as its my first visit in two years

Have you checked the SVR's website? There's usually a list on there of what's working and what's stored & where. http://www.svr.co.uk/Default.aspx
Then click on "Planning your visit", then on latest news and scroll down to the last but one item in the list:"Locomotive fleet update."
