Hello,
My name is Peter and I am from Norfolk,
I was always interested in Steam trains in the 50's due to my uncle working for British rail.
I was born in London and moved to Norfolk in the late 50's but due to family comitments etc I let my interest wane slightly but since taking a trip on the Pickering to Whitby line I am getting my interest back.
My knowledge of steam trains is very limited , (well almost non existent )..so that is why I decided to join the railway forum to chat to like minded enthusiasts to hear there experiences and with this in mind, hopefully travel on many more of the countrys railways...
