Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, a little bit more time time on my hands at the moment, so I plan to do a bit of travelling around the UK. Does anyone know of any up and coming Railway open days in the near future? Unfortunatly the South Wales Diesel loco scene isn't what it used to be.

Hi Dave, there is an event at Tyseley Birmingham an open day on the 25th this month. There are quite a few diesles there although I believe it to be mainly a steam day.
